Love is your search for answers at the Phoenix Hyatt Regency. Love is wondering if you should have used the armrest on a college movie date in Friendsville, Maryland. Love is the reason firefighters saw you in your underwear in Flagstaff, Arizona. Come to our Pivot mainstage event on February 8 to hear seven sometimes painful and sometimes hilarious true stories about the scars that love can leave us, because even though love is a many splendored thing, sometimes, it just hurts.

Secrets: we all have them, keep them, spill them. We guard our own carefully and occasionally watch over them for others. We may whisper or laugh about them to friends, or never speak them aloud. Secrets can be treasures we occasionally take out of the box to touch, or they can be monsters we lock in the basement and try to forget. At the second mainstage event for Pivot, seven storytellers will tell true stories from their own lives that revolve around secrets. Not to be missed!

Venue: Washington Cracker Building, 304 W. Pacific

We all have a New Beginnings story.  A story of dawn, step one, day one, birth or re-birth. Initiations and inaugurations. Tabula rasa. A new leaf, a puppy, a job, a journey, parole. New car smell. A makeover. Quantum leaps, burning and building bridges, cleaning house, pulling up roots or a fresh coat of paint. A blank sheet of paper. Join eight Spokane storytellers as they share, live and without notes, their own stories of new beginnings.
